 When Don Collier opened Mountain         Valley Winery in 1991 he wanted to offer    something extra for his regular guests who would visit the winery often.  The idea of a wine club was discussed for many years, and finally became a reality in 2008.  It was decided that two times a year, in April and October, that a shipment of 6 bottles would be sent out to those valued members of Mountain Valley’s winery friends. Members were able to choose which club they would like to join (Sweet, Dry, or Mix). Private to only wine club members, these wines would never be sold at the winery until all of the members had a chance to reorder their favorites. 

The Rocky Top Wine Club’s legacy has continued to grow since then and now includes wines from 4 other wineries that have now joined in on this elite membership. We are proud to share that October of 2012 will mark our 8^th wine club shipment…. and the fun is only beginning!  Our Master Winemaker, Doug Seitz still continues to make brand new wine for club members, and this wine is still only sold to the public after a 30-day reorder period for members only.  A 30% discount applies to all Club Wines that are reordered during this time frame as well.  Wine club members receive special discounts at all five of our member wineries (Mountain Valley Winery, Hillside Winery, Eagle Springs Winery, Apple Barn Winery and Sugarland Cellars); these discounts include: 10% off all wine, and 20% off gift shop items.  These discounts are good online and in the wineries.
