Did you know?!
Sugarland Cellars, the winery located in Gatlinburg, TN, releases four limited edition seasonal wines every year. Local artist Robert A. Tino, who captures the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains through his paintings, donates his time to create a special wine label for Sugarland Cellars to celebrate the beautiful seasons in the area. Therefore, for these seasonal labels, the winemaker and his team create a delicious wine that pairs perfectly with the atmosphere.
The seasonal wines are extremely special. Check out the video below to see how!
Sunny Days has been released at the winery. This wine is a delicious semi-sweet white wine made with Tennessee Niagara grapes. Offering aromas of pineapples, pears, and honey. The wine is absolutely perfect for sunny spring days.
In the video below Brittany Hawks from Sugarland explains how their newest release helps the Friends of Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Friends of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a non-profit organization that assists the National Park Service in its mission to preserve and protect Great Smoky Mountains National Park by raising funds and public awareness.
Due to the tragic wildfire in late 2016, it has been estimated that more than 17,000 acres, in and outside the park, have been damaged. Many animals have lost homes and the National Park is doing their best to rebuild the trails.
Sugarland Cellars has also released a semi-dry red wine called, Chimney Tops. For each bottle sold of Chimney Tops, a portion will be donated to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park to help directly to rebuild the trails that have been damaged by the tragic wildfires from late November 2016. Friends of the Smokies “Trails Forever Program” will receive these funds for use on all trails needing service in the Park.
