Single and Ready to Wine a Little this Valentine’s Day

Make Valentine’s Day special this year by introducing your closest friends to the adventures you can have here in the Great Smoky Mountains. The Smokies does have a lot of romantic areas, which include a romantic getaway package or dinner by the river. However, some of the most incredible places here in the Smokies are for couples and groups alike!

Rocky Top Wine Trail

Of course, the number one place I do recommend for adventuring is the Rocky Top Wine Trail, 5 wineries plus a shinery! Enjoy free samples of wine at each winery and a glass at a few locations with incredible views. Share a different experience at the variety of wineries on the trail while making unforgettable memories. What’s great about exploring the Rocky Top Wine Trail on Valentine’s Day is that they have really great sales on all your favorite wines. Those discounts can translate to delicious treats for you and your significant other.

           Valentine’s Day Specials:

Apple Barn Winery: Enjoy an extra 10% off of your favorite wines (must purchase 6 or more)

Mountain Valley Winey: Ready-made Gift Baskets for only $20!

Hillside Winery: $18 a bottle for the best bubbly wines

Mill Bridge Winery: $8 for a cider flight

Sugarland Cellars at traffic light #3: Purchase any 3 bottles and get 2 free flutes

Sugarland Cellars Satellite located across from “The Village”: Purchase a 3 pack and get 2 free wine glasses

Local Goat

Stop by the Local Goat and enjoy a true local meal paired with Tennessee craft Hard Cider, which is produced right here in Sevierville, TN. If your group really enjoys the cider, stop by Mill Bridge Winery (also a location along the Rocky Top Wine Trail) where y’all can find several other flavors of local craft cider. Mill Bridge Winery is the perfect spot to enjoy and loosen up a bit. It’s one of the most relaxing locations in the Old Mill Historic District in Pigeon Forge, especially when the weather is beautiful and everyone can sit on the outdoor patio.

Before leaving the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge area to explore Gatlinburg, stop by Sevier Air to get a group workout!

Sevier Air is the newest and largest indoor adventure park that includes a trampoline park, ninja warrior course, and even a 3-story networked net system.

Bring out the inner kids in everyone and enjoy jumping like monkeys and fighting like ninjas!

Have you been to the escape rooms?

There are several incredible “Escape rooms” thriller games in the Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg area. Grab the gang, adventure through a themed room, and find your way out. Work together to solve clues to successfully complete the mission! Fun for all ages.

Find Your Way Into Gatlinburg!

There are a variety of group activities in Gatlinburg, like exploring the area and the shineries. Doc Collier Moonshine Distillery is a great place to begin! No matter how many times you visit the distillery they always have delicious shines to try. All of the flavors are made from natural juices and taste really good. They’ve always either got a new shine, brandy, or a gift shop item that’s sure to grab your attention.

Speaking of new, did you hear about Anakeesta, which recently just opened across the street from Doc Colliers, it’s great! Enjoy a lift up to the mountains to a little village located at the end of the lift ride. There are unique shops up there and the view is absolutely breathtaking!

Go a little further into Gatlinburg downtown and drive up the mountains to the slopes at Ober Gatlinburg. It’s an unforgettable experience. Whether you’re into skiing, snowboarding, or tubing, Ober has great group activities! And for those who don’t want to drive, you can park in downtown Gatlinburg and ride the large Gondola up to the top!
