Spending the Fourth of July in Tennessee doesn’t get any better than this. .

Enjoy the 4th of July in The Great Smoky Mountains with the entire family anywhere you go.

Starting at noon Patriot Park in Pigeon Forge will be opening a FREE kids carnival. Filled with tons of games, food, and fun you don’t want to miss out on. Not to mention, Thompson Square will be singing their top hit song “Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not.” End the day with the beautiful fireworks show.

Oh, and don’t forget to take a break across the street at Mill Bridge Winery. They will be offering FREE limited samples of wine, hard cider, and wine slushies! Order a glass of your favorite drink and enjoy it on the outdoor patio where you can get an incredible view of the 4th of July fireworks celebration.

That’s not all.

Gatlinburg Celebrates Independence Day in a Big Way!

The big parade, which was voted as the Top Ten Parades to see in the US by National Geographic Traveler Magazine, will begin midnight at 12:01 am.

In recognition of their heroic efforts during the 2016 wildfires, Gatlinburg is proud to announce that the Grand Marshals for the 4th of July Parade will be the Firefighter, First Responders, and Law Enforcement Officers who came to help the time during the tragic time.

Spend the day in town enjoying varies Tennessee treats, like Blackberry Peach or White Sangria released at Sugarland Cellars! Authentic Tennessee wine made right at the winery. There will also be live music and entertainment from the Smoky Mountain Tunes & Tales.

The Fourth of July celebration will come to a close at 10 pm with a big bang fireworks show. Enjoy it with the entire family; best view is by the Ripley’s Aquarium at traffic light #4.

Create Your Own Sparkle!

Try this super easy recipe that will add a little extra sparkle.

  • 1 bottle of White Sangria from Sugarland Cellars (Great price right now. Only   $14.99, Purchase 6 and receive 25% off, plus local discount)
  • 1 bottle of Blissful, Sparkling wine
  • One pineapple
  • A cup of raspberries
  • 1 ½ cup of blueberries
  • 1 cup of strawberries

 

Directions:

Slice your strawberries. Cut your pineapple into star shapes or chunks. (Make it festive and get a star cookie cutter to cut your pineapple.) Place star pineapples in the freezer for about 2-4 hours. Combine all your other fruits (strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries) in a pitcher and stir in the entire bottle of White Sangria. Cover and refrigerate for an hour or two.

When you’re ready to serve, stir in your sparkling wine and frozen pineapples.

Serve immediately and enjoy responsibly.
